Location of the area
The LIFE Nature Project for : Improving the Habitats and Species of Banyoles Natura 2000: A Demonstrative Project is located in the north-easternmost area of the Iberian Peninsula, in the north east of the Principality of Catalonia. More specifically, it is being implemented in the province of Girona on lands that are part of the Lake Area of the Estany de Banyoles.
